Beauty of the Night

July 31st, 2017

Beauty of the Night was heavily inspired by the excitement and enthralling energy of the Bicentenary of Bahá'u'lláh.

It warmed my heart to know that this is a wondrous time for us to connect to the source of our Faith and to go deep within and reflect on our connection to the Blessed Beauty.

I remember doing security night shifts from 12am-7am around the Shrine of Bahá'u'lláh and being so mesmerized by the night sky melting in with my sacred surroundings. The grass is dewey, everyone in the city is asleep, and here I am alone with Bahá'u'lláh, gazing upward at His Shrine and then down at my own heart. Fulfillment at its most serene state.

This painting is a spirited artistic visual of what I see in my mind when I reflect back 5 years ago to those moments. I Think to myself, "thank You".
