I have always loved Antelope Canyon. It is one of the most photographed canyons in the world. The way the light changes and characterizes the rock formations and texture is simply awe-inspiring.
I've been following Peter Lik's photography for a while and have found a noble and iconic quality to his pictures. He released a photo called "Angels Heart" and I fell in love with it so hard I simply had to paint it's glory and pay my respects to his photo.
Motion was created during the formative days of Ian Artistry where I just exited an intensely difficult and mentally draining year. I was ecstatic to be in a new environment with more independence and room to find my purpose.
This painting symbolizes an exclamation of a new era of love and fulfillment for me, each color is so vibrant and grounded and it made my heart so happy and proud to have created it.
