Preceeding the Shrine of the Báb comes a simple yet significant door to His Threshold. The sun and moon has long been a symbolized in the Bahá'í and Bábi dispensation for irepresentation of God (the sun) and His Manifestations (the moon). It also can be interpreted for the relationship of Abdu'l-Bahá (the moon) and Bahá'u'lláh (the sun).
