Rich in Gems

Rich in Gems has been in my mind for quite a long time, I would say about 5 years.

I had the idea bloom when I was at a study retreat for learning how to advance dialogue that called on more spiritual and constructive topics.

I love the quote it was inspired from because it is so visual, colorful, and huge. I can see what Bahá'u'lláh is saying.

At the retreat, I drew a 8x11" version of "Rich in Gems" with a pen and Crayola colored pencils, but it stuck with me that it should be much bigger and more elaborate.

4 years later today I painted Rich in Gems on one of the largest canvases I've ever done and it is simply immersive.
